Shahrukh Khan daughter
Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan stepped out stylishly, making a red carpet appearance at the 19th Colors Screen Awards. Suhana may be papa’s little girl, but her sense of fashion and style has definitely gone on mommy Gauri Khan.
While Shahrukh Khan was busy backstage, preparing to host the awards show, his gorgeous wife Gauri Khan walked in gracefully along with her daughter who also appeared poised and composed.
Mommy Gauri dressed herself in a purple body hugging attire while Suhana chose to wear a simple floral print, knee-length off-shoulder dress and paired it up with beige color wedge flip flops. Her hair was left lose with light curls flowing down her shoulder and her face was clear sans make-up but a tint of lip gloss. Carrying a pink-cover mobile phone, the little girl looked chic and pretty.
Earlier too, at the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Suhana made a fashionable statement in a lehenga choli, poker straight hair and a glittery bindi.
Looks like Suhana, is a fashionista in the making.
Besides Gauri Khan and Suhana, another popular mother-daughter duo who are known for their fashion sense and are hogging the paparazzi attention are Srideviand her daughter Jhanvi. The duo have been clicked sevearal times at various events.

When Salman Khan was turned down by Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone confesses that most of the choices that she made in the past 27 years of her life, may not have been right.
After spending five years in the film industry, Deepika says, “It feels as if it were yesterday! It was so unnerving and unclear when I first came into the industry. I was a 21-year-old in a new city, living all by myself, and I got into in an industry where I didn’t know a soul.”
And so, she turned down Salman Khan with whom she was offered a movie back then. But now, Deepy can’t wait to work with the superstar. “I wasn’t ready. I was too young and unclear about which profession to choose at that time. A lot of people thought I was foolish to let it go, but I guess it was destined. But I am glad that I didn’t do the film, because I know I wouldn’t have done justice to it and our pairing then,” she says.
Deepika started her career as a Shah Rukh Khan heroine with Om Shanti Om (2007). The upcoming films include Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,Race 2 and Ram Leela.

Arjun Rampal & Chitrangda Singh’s jodi instantly became a hit

Chitrangda Singh
The sizzling chemistry between co-actors of Inkaar, Arjun Rampal and Chitrangda Singh is so real on reel that the film is already getting positive response and their jodi has become an instant hit.
The makers of the Inkaar have come up with an interesting concept to promote the film – the Inkaar calendar, which talks about men’s point of view versus women’s point of view. As per reports, within 24 hours of the calender’s release, it registered more than 1,44,000 people downloading.
Meanwhile, if an insider is to be believed, parts of the film have been inspired by director Sudhir Mishra’s real life. “Most of Sudhir’s films have been inspired by real-life incidents. But in Inkaar there are shades from Sudhir’s own life. The story of the film is about the discovery of a new talent, how Arjun Rampal’s character grooms Chitrangda and shapes her to become the creative director of an advertising agency. And once she gets groomed she chooses to take her decisions.
This angle of the creator and the muse is to a large extent inpsired by Sudhir and Chitrangda. Though the film then goes on to be played out as a courtroom drama, the premise of the story as far as the mentor and the muse is concerned echoes with that of Sudhir and Chitrangda,” reveals the source.
Sudhir says, “The roles of women I write are slightly mysterious and they are women who will never totally belong to you, yet are feminine and attractive. Chitrangda personifies that for me and I don’t have to convince her as she just comes and plays it. She is quite strong-willed. For me, she is an actor and as an actor I find her interesting. I like the fact that she is somewhere else and she comes and works well with me.”

Sunny Leone roped in for a high octane action film!

Sunny Leone
Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone is currently in demand. Sunny, who made her debut with Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2, has already been roped in for her third film.
The adult movie star has been signed for a film that will have high octane action sequences. The film is titled Tina and Lolo and will go on floors by May 2013. The film won’t be like Charlie’s Angels says the film director.
Devang Dholakia, the film’s director said:“Sunny really liked the script, and once she is done with her prior commitments, she will be on board. It’s an action film and the rest of the star cast shall be decided soon.”
“It’s a complete rustic action film. It will be in-your-face. It will not be ‘Charlie’s Angels’ kind of an action. We will start rolling from May 2013 and Sunny will have to do some training before starting the film.” added the director, who earlier tried to make a mark with 3 Nights and 4 Days.
Dholakia has been keen to work with Sunny Leone ever since he saw her in the erotic thriller Jism 2. Apparently, he wants to portray Sunny in a different light.
“I saw ‘Jism 2′ and I really liked her work in the film but I didn’t want to cast her in a typical Sunny Leone kind of a film. I thought it would be fun to do something different,” he said.

Katrina Kaif gets relief in Rs 2.79-crore service tax case

Image
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has got relief in the Rs 2.79-crore service tax case as a tribunal has ruled that this liability has been discharged by her agent for the the modelling assignments she has done.

"In this case, appellant (Katrina) has appointed Matrix as her agent to discharge her service tax liability on her behalf and the same has been discharged by Matrix," said a recent ruling by the Mumbai bench of Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT).

The ruling follows an appeal by Katrina R Turcotte (Katrina Kaif) against an order of the Service Tax Commissioner asking her to clear service tax liability of Rs 2.79 crore under the head classified as 'Business Auxiliary Service'. The amount included an interest and penalty of Rs 33.68 lakh.

The service tax department had slapped the duty on her for providing services to various companies for promoting products through modelling assignments through advertisement films, TV commercials and still photography.

Katrina's lawyers said that she had discharged the service tax liability through her agent Matrix India Entertainment Consultants.

The revenue department, however, contended that the tax liability was discharged under 'Advertisement Agency Service' head and not under 'Business Auxiliary Service' category and hence Katrina was liable to pay the service tax.

The tribunal ruled that "by mere paying the service tax liability under wrong head does not meant that service tax liability has not been discharged.... We hold that the appellant has discharged the service tax liability through her agent."

During one of the nomination episodes, Imam had a spat with show's host Salman and he even said "time out" in his typical style to the actor.

"It (argument) was unpleasant and unwarranted. I think I should have done a reality check. He is a bigger superstar. I am ashamed of it. But I don't regret it," Imam told PTI.

On if he would meet Salman and clarify or resolve the matter, he said, "Why should I meet him... why to interact with him on that thing."

Imam was the runner up of 'Bigg Boss 6' that concluded last night, while popular television actress Urvashi Dholakia won the show by a narrow margin.

"I am happy Urvashi won the show. She reminds me of my sister. I respect her for what she is and the way she is taking care of her children," Imam said.

"I am happy I lost. I am happy for her," he said. During the show, Imam indulged in fighting, yelling, troubling co-contestants. "I did things for entertaining people," he said.
