Sunny Leone will play an actress in Ragini MMS 2!

Sunny Leone was recently spotted at a temple praying before starting the shooting of her next film Ragini MMS 2. Now, news making the rounds is that Sunny’s role in the film has been revealed

The Indo-Canadian porn star who made her debut with Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2 after appearing the reality show Bigg Boss 5, will play the role of a Bollywood actress in her upcoming film Ragini MMS 2.

Ragini MMS2, a horror thriller, is her second film.

A source said: “Sunny is playing the role of a Bollywood actress in the film. She is playing herself in the film. She started the shooting seven days back with all newcomers.”

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Ragini MMS 2 is said to be the sequel of Ragini MMS whichh released in 2011. The movies was based on true events about a Delhi girl whose MMS was circulated. The second installment of the film will be directed by Bhushan Patel and the story will be continued.

After Ragini MMS, Sunny Leone will start filming for a high octane action movie. The film will be directed by Devang Dholakia, who titled the film as Tina and Lolo.

Will Race 2 be the first blockbuster of the year?

The Box office hasn’t done the business predicted in the first month of 2013. It’s been quite, except for two average releases, Table No.21 and Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. But now things are about to change as this week’s releaseRace 2 is expected to open with a bang!

Directed by Bollywood’s king of thrillers, Abbas-Mustan, Race 2 looks superb and is expected to break the record of the prequel Race. Saif Ali Khan will reprise his role, but this time adding their star power will be John Abraham,Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Anil Kapoor. The film will definitely grab eye balls and attract audiences to the theaters. Saif and John look tough and we are expecting a stiff fight between the two in reel life. Deepika and Jacqueline look hot and sexy, also adding glamor to the film. Since the promos are out, the movie has created a positive buzz and Abbas-Mustan’s track record is a bonus.

The music is really good and is scorching charts. ‘Party On My Mind’, ‘Latt Lag Gayee’ and Atif Aslam’s ‘Be Inteha’ are potential chart busters. And despite the fact that the music is only available for download, the songs are the favorite of the youth.

Everything seems to be working for the film and we definitely think it will be a Blockbuster!

No sign of Preity Zinta’s film ‘Ishkq In Paris’

Preity Zinta’s film ‘Ishkq In Paris’, which was initially set for October 5, 2012 release, later postponed to November 2, will now release this year. However, the date and month of its release is not confirmed. The film has been getting delayed due to various reasons.

“For all of you asking ‘Ishkq In Paris’ will release in 2013. We got delayed finishing it due to my director falling sick. Besides that it looks great,” Preity tweeted.

During the post production of the film, director Prem Soni was diagnosed with cancer and just a few days before the ill fated news, his father passed away. Preity says the film would be released only when director Prem Raj is able to complete all the post-production work.

“Sometimes we have no control over life and destiny! I believe things happen for a reason. ‘Ishkq In Paris’ gets more special to me now,” the 37-year-old actress further added.

“Ishkq In Paris”, is Preity’s first production venture where she is seen playing a half-Indian, half-French girl. The male lead is played by Rhehan Malliek. It also features French actress Isabelle Adjani. The film was shot mainly across France, in Paris and Lyon and Prague, with some scenes shot in India.

Vidya Balan waiting eagerly for Kahaani 2 script!

Vidya Balan’s Kahaani has bagged top awards this year at various award functions. Director of the film Sujoy Ghosh, has been in talks about the sequel of the film and he wants Vidya to play the lead once again. After bagging top awards for Kahaani, Sujoy Ghosh has set the ball in momentum for part two and Vidya Balan, who played lead in the original, can’t wait to hear the story.

At the prestigious Filmfare awards on Sunday (January 20), Vidya Balan bagged the ‘Best Actor (female)’ title, while Sujoy Ghosh was named the best director.

Vidya said that she’s waiting to hear the script for the second installment of the film.

“Ask Sujoy, I am very excited to know which ‘Kahaani’ he has written. So, let’s see,” the 33-year-old said here Sunday at the 58th Filmfare awards.

Vidya Balan further added: “When we started ‘Kahaani’, only two people were associated with it, Sujoy and me. But later others joined in. We tried to make a good film, people liked it and we have grabbed a lot of other awards for the film till now.”

Also featuring Parambrata Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kahaani is going strong at the awards function.

John Abraham is the first shirtless gangster of Bollywood!

Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming film Shootout At Wadala promises to be a high octane action flick about the Mumbai underworld. John Abraham will play the role of protagonist Manya Surve and will also be the first shirtless gangster of Bollywood.

Sanjay said at the launch of the first look: “This is will be the first shirtless don. You will not get to see anyone else like this in Bollywood. No one will be able to compete with him (John).”

John Abarham also put an action-filled performance at the promotional event.

Asked if there will be item numbers in the film, the director said thatBipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have been approached for them.

“There are not three but four item numbers. We have approached few of them. But it’s in the process and it will be wrong to name anyone,” he said.

The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Sonu Sood.

When John was asked about how he found sharing screen space with Manoj Bajpayee, he said: “He is a good co-star and an excellent actor. He has given many good inputs in the film.”

This first look of the film had an innovative promotional activity as it was launched simultaneously in five different cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.

Kangana Ranaut’s National Award comes handy

Recently, amidst tight security,Kangana Ranaut shot for her upcoming film Queen at Terminal 1 of Delhi airport. However, getting permission for the shoot wasn’t very easy.

If a source is to be believed, the airport officials were reluctant in giving permission due to security reasons. However, when the officials got to know that two members from the filmy team were National Awardees, the airport officials changed their minds.

Kangana won the National Award for Fashion and director Vikas Bahl won the award for Chillar Party. Says a source, “When the officials were informed that two National Award winners were part of the film, it became easier to gain permission.”

Thereafter, the crew shot for a day at the airport.

Queen is being directed by Vikas Bahl. He said, “The authorities follow their own procedures and credibility definitely matters. I am sure the award certificates helped.”
He also said that the officials were pretty cooperative and that the shooting went off well the first day. “They had given us one of the sections of Terminal 1 for a whole day,” he says.

Queen is a story on a Delhi based girl, who goes on a honeymoon all alone. Most parts of the film has been shot on real locations in Delhi. The film has also been shot across Europe, mainly in Paris and Amsterdam.

Anushka Sharma avoid crossing path with Ranveer Singh

Anushka Sharma is doing everything possible to avoid crossing path with Ranveer Singh. At a recent award function, it was very evident that Ms Sharma was trying hard to maintain her distance from Ranveer.

Going by a popular a tabloid report, “Anushka made sure she was nowhere to be seen when Ranveer arrived at the party.”

Both, Anushka and Ranveer arrived at the same time. However, Anushka on seeing Ranveer’s car, decided to stay back till he left and walked out of the car only once she was sure Ranveer finished interacting with the media and entered the event area.

The party also saw Deepika Padukone, who is Ranveer’s Ram Leela co-star and also a good friend now. Says a source, “Anushka maintained a safe distance from Ranveer throughout. Considering that Deepika Padukone, who has been linked to him lately, was also there she made sure there were no awkward bump-ins.”

If rumors are to be believed, it was Ranveer Singh who called the affair quits.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma will soon start filming for Rajukumar Hirani`s ‘Peekay’, which will go on floors from February.

Says Anushka, “I am very excited to be working with Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan. We will start shooting for the film in February. I hope we try to make a better film than `3 Idiots` for the audience.”
