Salman Khan In News Again

Salman Khan
Bollywood’s heartthrob and a very dedicated body builder, Salman Khan a.k.a Sallu Bhai is in the news again. And this time its for so many reasons!
Firstly its about his never-ending, decade long, rash driving case. We hear that while Salman was driving, he was quite aware of the consequences his rash driving could lead to. Smashing into a bakery, killing one person and injuring four others is what he had in his mind? Yeah Right!! Who would ever do something like that if they were aware of the consequences?
Well, the magistrate thinks otherwise and is charging Salman under IPC Section 304 part II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder). Poor Salman if convicted can land up in jail to a maximum sentence of 10 years! When questioned Salman’s lawyer about the charges he said “The alleged incident had taken place at mid-night, when it was extremely dark and many people had gathered at the scene of the accident. Therefore, prima-facie it is amply clear that there was absence of any motive or intention to kill someone. The act as alleged is not an act of culpable homicide, but an unfortunate incident, beyond control of accused, such as an act of God.”
Apart from all this tension, we hear this Salman will soon be signing a 500 crore deal with Star Network. According to the contract Star Network will now have the exclusive satellite rights to broadcast all the films featuring Salman that are to be released from January 2013 to December 2017
