Shahid Kapoor returns with Kaminey 2

Vishal Bharadwaj was very keen on casting Imran Khan as the lead actor in Kaminey 2, as he thought Imran was a crowd puller. However, after his last disastrous flick Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mondala, Vishal changed his mind. Now, the director is ready to retain the original actor Shahid Kapoor in the sequel of the film.

The filmmaker was asked to confirm the hero of the film ‘Kaminey 2′, to which he said,“Certainly, certainly it will be Shahid Kapoor.”

During the promotions of ‘Matru Ki Bijli ka Mandola’, buzz were doing rounds that Imran Khan was confirmed as the main lead in Kaminey 2.

Imran Khan said, “If the story is good, I would really love to do it. I have seriously enjoyed working with Vishal in his movies. I would love to do another film with him, having said that, I would like to be honest and tell you that we haven’t really spoken about working together in ‘Kaminey 2′. If he would like to work with me, I am happy to work with him.”

However, Vishal rubbished all such rumors saying Imran Khan was never considered for the role and that Shahid was always on his mind to play the lead.

“It is not true at all that Imran was considered. Like most rumours, this one is also not true,” says Vishal.

Kaminey was a super hit and so, Shahid does have a genuine claim to do the sequel as well.

When Ranbir Kapoor was attacked

Ranbir Kapoor is back again with ‘Beshram’ to entertain the audiences like he did in Barfi!, last year. The shooting of the flick has already begun, with its first schedule in Chandigarh. the actor was recently caught in his character on the sets and he looked extremely funny.

In the still, we see Ranbir Kapoor properly dressed in a black suit, but his face is covered with white paint. This funny looks goes well with the film’s tagline, “Na Samman Ka Moh, Na Apmaan Ka Bhay”.

Besharam is Abhinav Kashyap’s second film after Dabangg, and will see Pallavi Sharda play the female lead. The film also features Ranbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in pivotal roles.

Says a source, “In Abhinav Kashyap’s film, the three actors will share screen space. His real-life parents play cops who nab Ranbir who grows up to become a thief.”

It is heard that the Kapoor family is super excited to be shooting together.“Ranbir, Rishi and Neetu will get to spend some quality time on the sets away from home. Unlike Neetu, Ranbir and Rishi hardly spend time at home as they are always busy with their work commitments. Neetu and Ranbir are especially close and it couldn’t get any better,” adds the source.

Buzz also has it that Ranbir Kapoor will get to show off his abs in the film and that he will sport a macho look.

Alia Bhatt wishes to act in a horror movie

Bollywood baby Alia Bhatt made her debut with a youth-oriented film titled Student Of The Year. Now, looks like baby Alia has grown up. The newbie is very keen on featuring in a horror flick. In fact, the actress herself said that she would love to be a part of the Murder or Raaz franchise in future.

The 19-years-old spoke at the screening of Murder 3. She said,“In these thrillers and scary movies, it is very difficult to portray (the role), to always look scared… and you know, (be) in that tense zone. So, I would love to do a film (like that). If ‘Murder 4′ or ‘Raaz 4′ happen, I would love to do it.”

Directed by Alia’s cousin, Vishesh Bhatt and produced by her father, Mahesh Bhatt, Murder 3 stars Aditi RaoHydari, Randeep Hooda and Sara Loren in the lead roles. Vishesh Bhatt debuted as the director of the film, which hit theaters on Feb 15.

Alia Bhatt is very proud of her cousin. She said, “I saw it with the audience and I loved it. I think the ‘Murder’ franchise has gone a step ahead with this film. I feel very proud as a sister. Vishesh has taken such a beautiful story and made it so interesting and gripping.”

Meanwhile, Alia has started shooting for “2 States” opposite Arjun Kapoor.

John Abraham feels, the rich should help the needy more

John Abraham believes that today’s youth, if they want, can play a big role in helping the needy. He also feels that the big corporates should take initiative to support the poor and the needy. The actor himself is a part of an NGO run by Rahul Bose.

“I say the youth should contribute. Contribution is when each one of us are willing to give what is ours, without worrying about how much the other has. If we are all willing to do that, we will have equality,” the 40-year-old said.

John was at a press conference organised by actor-philanthropist Rahul Bose. The duo recently announced a concert to raise money for Rahul’s ‘The Foundation’. The organization works the upliftment of underprivileged children.

John has given away most of his clothes and other items to the organization. The actor loves to live a simple life.

“I have given my clothes away. Anyway I wear very little clothes,” he quipped, adding: “I have two to three pairs of jeans, four to five shirts which you will see are repeated in press conferences and some 20 t-shirts. You can instantly recognise them!”

“I really believe that leading a simple lifestyle helps and I am sure you all can also do the same. It is no use having many expensive things – you just collect and horde and then throw out,” he added.

Ranveer makes me feel special, says Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone just cant stop gushing about her Ram Leela co-star, Ranveer Singh. According to the actress, Ranveer is very unique and a wonderful person to be with.

In an interview to Filmfare, Deepika said, “He’s a wonderful person. He has the ability to walk into a room and make you feel like you’re the most important person in the world. And it’s not just with people he knows. He could be meeting someone for the first time and make him feel like they’re best friends. That’s God given. That’s why he gets so much love. We’re in a similar space in terms of our age, where we’re coming from in our lives. There’s a lot of similarity between us, he doesn’t come from a film background. He’s also relatively new to the industry. We have a great time together. He makes me laugh a lot. He makes me feel special. That’s it. If I’m in a relationship, I’ll talk about it.”

So are Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone dating?

Deepika says, “I’m single. I’m not in the frame of mind to be in a relationship. I get too involved when I’m in a relationship. I don’t know whether it’s a problem or a good thing. But I don’t know how to be with someone and not be attached. I’m in a phase in my career where I feel I may not be able to do justice to both – my relationship and my career. My career is going well. I don’t want anything to take away from that.”

Saif Ali Khan will make himself look cool in Bullet Raja

Saif Ali Khan is wholly focusing on getting the right kind of look for his upcoming flick Bullet Raja, which is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. Saif’s character in the film will see him wearing shabby and nasty clothes. However, the actor says, he will still try him best to look super cool.

“I think it is one of the most fun things when you do a role, try and find the look for the character. So ‘Bullet Raja’ is kind of like this (points to stubble) but a little, sort of wears pretty big and nasty clothes but hopefully we’ll make it look kind of cool. That’s the idea, nylon shirts and white pants and white shoes,” the 42-year-old said.

Saif is aware of the fact that forming a negative image of himself on-screen can hamper his future prospects in the film industry, nevertheless, it is still very important.

“I don’t know how important is it for an actor to have an image because an image can sometimes stereotype you. I think the less you know about an actor, the better. An actor should just actually have an image of being a good actor,” Saif said.

“But there are many other aspects to an actor’s income, like magazine covers, forming some kind of, you being a brand ambassador and people investing in you. But as an actor I don’t think it’s very important,” he added.

Aamir Khan nicknamed Rani Mukerji as ‘engine’

Aamir Khan has nicknamed his Ghulam co-star, Rani Mukerji as engine. It was Rani Mukerji who revealed this secret on the UTV Stars’ Yeh Hai Meri Kahaani.

It had all started on the sets of the movie Gulham, in 1998, where Rani was required to film a hugging scene with Aamir. Even after 3 attempts, they were not able to get the scene right and as a result Aamir decided that Rani must be called ‘engine’. While on the show, Rani Mukerji aslso shared her professional journey. She had apparently wanted to become a fashion designer but ended up as an actress. The episode featuring Rani will be on air on Saturday.

The duo also appeared in Talaash. Where Aamir Khan plays the role of a cop investigating the murder of a famous movie star and Rani Mukerji portrays the character of Aamir’s wife.

Meanwhile Aamir is busy being the villain in the next installment of Dhoom series. And well as for Rani, she is busy being Rani Mukerji and not Rani Chopra as Shatrughan Sinha once accidentally referred her as. Well we know there are no accidents in Bollywood.
