Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan Teja sizzle on screen

Priyanka Chopra and south starRam Charan Teja have been paired for the first time in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming remake film Zanjeer. Their on screen chemistry has already become the talk of the industry. The filmmaker says, the couple and their chemistry is refreshing.

“The chemistry of Priyanka and Ram Charan Teja is looking 2,000 times better than what I had expected. They both are looking surprisingly refreshing onscreen,”Lakhia told IANS.

Zanjeer is the remake of the 1973 film of the same name.

The entire team was here in Hyderabad for the film’s second schedule.

Lakhia said: “It was superb shooting in Hyderabad. We finished the second schedule at a stretch. The film has shaped up very well… that’s all I can say as a director.”

The remake is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Amit Mehra and Flying Turtle Films, and will release on April 12, 2013.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s look as Sher Khan, originally played by Pran, has been revealed and has also become the talk of the industry. It is heard that the actor will also sports a scar on his face to look a little grungy. “He will also wear soorma in his eyes. We have tried to keep his look extremely authentic, and have refrained from going overboard with his hairstyle or beard,” says Aalim, popular hairstylist.

Aishwarya Rai wants to loose weight for her comeback film!

Former Miss World and actressAishwarya Rai who became a mother after giving birth to a baby girl last year, has been criticized for her weight issues ever since she gave birth. But now, since the beautiful actress wants to make a comeback into films, she has decided to shed a few kilos.

Friends close to Aishwarya Rai have said that she has resumed her yoga lessons and also physical training lessons at home, probably for a comeback in acting. As per rumors, it’s said that Ash is in talks with filmmakers and her comeback film may go on floors by mid 2013.

Aishwarya’s last film before motherhood was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish, which starred Hrithik Roshan. While reports are not true about her comeback, Ash is enjoying being a mother and is spotted with her baby everywhere. Earlier, it was said that she would make a comeback with Karan Johar’s next film, but those rumors have been quashed.

Will Imran Khan be the new Kaminey?

So, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey changed people’s views on Shahid Kapoor as an actor. He was the toast of the town after the film. However, Post Matru Ki Bijilee Ka Mandola, Vishal has seems to have taken a shine for Imran Khan. Sources say that in the sequel of Kaminey, it will be Imran and not Shahid in the lead role.

A source said: “During the making of their next film, Vishal seemed to have taken a shine for Imran. And now for his upcoming sequel, he is keen on taking Imran in place of Shahid.”

Vishal Bharadwaj has been impressed with Imran, who will be seen in his latest film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.

“He even went on to compare Imran with other actors he has worked with in the past, including Shahid and Saif Ali Khan,” added the source.

As of now the news isn’t confirmed but Vishal’s sudden liking for Imran may just tick off Shahid. Let’s wait and see who bags the role this time around. What do you think?

Salman Khan to work with Tabu and Naseer?

 Khan reportedly insisted to his brother, Sohail Khan to castTabu and Nasseruddin Shah in the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster, Stalin, named Radhein the Hindi remake. Salman is to play a good Samaritan in the movie. He is expected to undergo a makeover  for his intense role in the movie.

According to a source, the actors are yet to give a nod. However, “Before leaving for Dubai on Wednesday, Sohail spoke to Tabu and Naseer for two important roles in the film.”

“it was at Salman’s insistence that Tabu and Naseer were contacted. Salman felt that the supremely talented duo could give the film a touch of class. Also, the film sees him as a military officer who sets out to reform society,” the source added.

If all goes well, it will be the first time that the three actors will be seen together on screen. Tabu and Salman have acted together earlier in Biwi No 1, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Jeet. If Tabu agrees to work in this film, this will be their 4^th film together.

It is being supposed that Tabu will be playing the role of Salman’s sister in the movie. However Naseeruddin’s role is uncertain.

Let us hope that we get to see the three actors together in Radhe!

Salman Khan makes Anushka Sharma uncomfortable

Promoting movies on the small screen is unavoidable for any movie before its release. More so, when it involves a show like Big Boss, one can’t ignore. So, Anushka Sharmaand Imran Khan, the leads of Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola had to follow suit and so landed in the sets of Big Boss.

On Friday evening, the couple visited the show. While Imran seemed very comfortable in the presence of Salman, Anushka seemed visibly uncomfortable all the same. And we hear from a birdie that the reason for this uneasiness is Anushka’s closeness to Salman’s arch rivalShahrukh Khan.

According to a source, “Anushka made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan and was also recently seen in Jab Tak Hai Jaan which again had SRK as her co-star. She might not have chosen to get in to any camps but the industry has clearly branded her as someone close to SRK. So, it was definitely awkward for her to promote the film at Salman’s show. On the other hand, Imran is on very good terms with Salman and the feeling is very much mutual.”

“During a recent awards ceremony, it was quite evident that Anushka was not very comfortable around Salman. In fact, when her dear co-star Imran, from whom she has been pretty much inseperable these days, was speaking to Salman backstage, Anushka chose to make herself scarce. Salman and she didn’t even acknowledge each other’s presence; even Imran chose not to introduce her to Salman. Moreover, when rumours of her being in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kickopposite Salman surfaced, she has chosen to deny them saying that she was never approached,” revealed another source.

Since both the actors are professionals, there is no doubt that the shoot must have gone without any problems. But, we wonder what must have happened behind the sets!
