Here’s why Salman Khan defended Shah Rukh Khan…

Here’s why Salman Khan defended Shah Rukh Khan…Mumbai: Industry heavyweights Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been pitted against each other for quite sometime now. And it’s known to one and all that the two Pathans can’t meet eye to eye.
And hence, when the audiences saw the ‘Dabangg’ superstar batting for his arch rival Shah Rukh Khan on his show ‘Bigg Boss 6’, people wondered if the two had reconciled.
But that wasn’t the case. Post Imam Siddiqique’s remarks on SRK, Salman had been giving the ‘Bigg Boss 6’ inmate a piece of his mind. But Sallu had eventually said that he cannot get along well with his arch rival SRK!
However, when TOI asked Salman why he defended SRK on the reality show, the actor said, “Well, it`s nothing personal here. We work really hard in this industry to become who we are today. There is a difference between what is true and what is not! I just stood by the truth. I also did mention the same about Preity Zinta. I wonder why people are not talking about that!”
We hope the two warring Khans end their enmity soon and probably make an on-screen appearance together too!

Sher Salman Khan facing a tough time to get a real tiger?

A while ago, it was reported that Sohail Khan's Sher Khan has been indefinitely postponed because of Salman's strange request. Salman demanded a real royal Bengal tiger for Sher Khan. But now, it looks like the cost of creating such a tiger has become too expensive for the Khans. A source informed a leading daily that only creating "the tiger and its action was going to cost over 40 crore, which is higher than the regular production budget of a Salman film, minus his fee". It was reported that Salman Khan was very impressed with the character of the tiger, Richard Parker. He called Sohail and showed him the footage of Life Of Pi repeatedly. Not only this, Salman even asked Sohail whether the tiger that Sohail had in mind would resemble the Bengal tiger in LOP. Later, Sohail promised his brother that till he get such an impressive tiger, real or animated, he would not launch his movie Sher Khan. But now, it looks like Sohail is having a hard time fulfilling his own promise.

Ranbir Kapoor wants to play a negative character

Mumbai: Actor Ranbir Kapoor says he wants to move away from his popular boy-next-door image and play a negative character on-screen. "I want to play the role of a villain. I like Mogambo. There is something really exciting about villains.. they have beautiful girls around them every time, have lots of money and all the luxuries," Ranbir said. "Villains have the best life.. I really want to play a bad guy. But the only thing is they have to get beaten up by the hero in the end...but then it is ok," he said. At a time when big stars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are doing remakes, the 30-year-old actor is not keen on treading a similar path. "I believe today times are changing in our industry and filmmakers are coming up with interesting subjects. So I feel why do something which has already been done by someone.. why not do something new and different. I don't believe in remakes," Ranbir said. "I don't think I would be able to do justice if I become a part of any of my dad's or Mr Amitabh Bachchan's remake films. I won't be able to do what they did," he said. Ranbir will be seen next in Ayan Mukherjee's Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani opposite former girlfriend Deepika Padukone, followed by Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam and Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet
